Curious about the Fall Winter 2015-16 menswear trends? Well, actually there is nothing to be curious about. The trend is that there are any new trends. A lot is the same as previous Winter seasons – with some nuances, of course! Here are the 5 biggest ones:
50 shades of grey
Black may be the all time favourite color during Winter, grey is slowly taking the leading role. Try the head-to-toe grey look and dare to combine different shades.
Probably one of the most chic colors there are. Camel continues to be the trendiest of them all. All things camel, from coats to suits.
Coats are a key piece in every men’s Winter garderobe. But next Fall Winter season coats will never be so important. Only 1 rule you have to keep in mind: go oversized, taillé est passé!
Bold, patterned, oversized… fur – even faux! – was never so extravagant! Fur is all you need to spice up your Winter outfits.
Gone are the boring sweater days. Nowadays, sweaters are comfy and fun, ánd they are making a statement.
And another Fashion Week is over and out. Milan, you were fantastico! Here are my 10 favourite looks:
After attending several shows in Milan during men’s Fashion Week and following London Collections and Paris Fashion Week on NowFashion.com and Style.com, I’m looking forward to Spring Summer 2015. And this are the 5 biggest trends:
White is by far the biggest color statement next Summer season. From suits and parkas to slouchy trousers… all look better in white, or so it seems.
Au revoir, bright colors! The Spring Summer 2015 collections have a more neutral color palette, featuring mints, blushes, beiges, greiges and khakis.
Patterns are totally back: polka dots, vertical stripes, zig zags… . Wear them head-to-toe, like in a suit, or don’t be afraid to mix them either.
This is not a major trend, but mark my words… it will be in the future. New forms of embellishment and old live together with cut outs, passementerie, embossing and quilting.
Nothing new here. The bomber jacket has been back for a couple of seasons now. But next Spring Summer, this trend will be in full force.
What’s hot this Fall Winter season? A question on many fashionista’s mind. I give you the 5 biggest Fall Winter 2014-15 trends:
Lady in red
Red like fire, red like passion and red like blood. This color sums up so many states of mind, so much of what is happening in the world right now. Red ruled the Fall Winter 2014-15 catwalks and will rule your closet next Winter. Rouge, ça bouge!
Pure luxurious furs, from mix and matched to oversized coats… anything goes, no limits!
The Fall Winter 2014-15 collections are highly decorated with embroidery, taking on a whole new level of importance. Fashion has never been so luxurious.
Sports deluxe has been all over the runways for a couple of seasons now, and designers keep on experimenting with the concept. Think Lacoste chic with a futuristic touch and you’re ready to go!
Flowers are a common Spring thing, but next Fall Winter season designers put the print on cold-weather clothes too. Flower power! Even when it’s minus 10 degrees.
Arrivederci, Milano! Another Fashion Week came to an end and the Italians didn’t disappoint. From eccentric tomboys at No. 21 to a new Prada era… here are my 10 favourite Milan Fashion Week looks:
Already curious about the Fall Winter 2014-15 menswear trends? Well, after attending several shows in Milan during men’s Fashion Week and following London Collections and Paris Fashion Week on NowFashion.com and Style.com, I give you the 5 biggest trends:
Bye, bye, burgundy! Camel is the new it-color! From jackets with extravagant details, skinny tailoring… to pea coats, one of the most chic and elegant colors is back in fashion.
I’ve never been a fan of the oversized trend, so I’m most happy designers are turning the tide. Though blazers and skinny trousers always steal the show when it comes to tailoring. The Fall Winter 2014-15 catwalks confirm that the skinny trend is here to stay.
Mix and match, embroidered, multi-colored, patterned, oversized, cable knits… anything goes in terms of knitwear next Fall Winter season.
Fur, fur, FUR!!! No more to say.
The never-ending love affair between checks and fashion. Tweed, tartan, Prince of Wales… continue to feature in everything from tailoring to outerwear and of course the odd kilt.
