Curious about the Fall Winter 2015-16 menswear trends? Well, actually there is nothing to be curious about. The trend is that there are any new trends. A lot is the same as previous Winter seasons – with some nuances, of course! Here are the 5 biggest ones:

50 shades of grey

Black may be the all time favourite color during Winter, grey is slowly taking the leading role. Try the head-to-toe grey look and dare to combine different shades.

Different every season and always with an avant-garde touch. Yes, you gotta love Belgian fashion! Dries Van Noten just being Dries Van Noten, Haider Ackermann’s perfection, the ever mysterious Martin Margiela, Kris Van Assche’s own + Dior Homme madness… Belgium was once again taking over Paris Fashion Week. Excuse me, but we’re not ‘les petits Belges’ anymore!

May… that month everybody is talking about Spring’s hottest trends. Well, not me! Since Spring decided to be Fall and it’s raining more than ever here in Belgium, I better focus myself on the Fall Winter 2012-13 trends.

What’s the biggest trend next Fall and Winter for men? Definitely the oversized military coat, the key piece in every man’s wardrobe. Balmain, Dior Homme, Dries Van Noten… you name it, this trend was omni-présent on the Fall Winter 2012-13 runways. Extra large coats, long parkas or extravagant capes. As long as you release your inner soldier, you’re fine. I know it’s quite a big investment, but since the skies are weeping almost every day now, you really have value for money. Yes, we men are at war, so you better watch out!

Belgium’s number one male model, boy next door, pretty face, bubbly personality… you can’t describe Cesar Casier in one word. Born in Ghent 23 years ago this boy made his way onto the runway walking for Dior Homme, John Galliano, Gianfranco Ferré and Yves Saint Laurent. Like a true model, Cesar worked his angles for the pages of FHM, GQ Russia, VMAN, L’Officiel Hommes, Vogue Paris and Numéro Homme. Dsquared², Armani Jeans, Lubiam and Antony Morato made him the face of their label. And trust me… this is just the beginning. From Zara to Dior Homme… everybody wants Cesar Casier!
