Etro, fashion house and manufacturer of fabrics, furniture and fragrances, is as Italian as spaghetti. Well, actually too Italian for me, but I was very happy I was invited to their latest menswear show, always one of the highlights during Milan Fashion Week.
Etro’s new man is a adventurer, dressed in feathers and wearing long cloaks with tribal patterns. The Fall Winter 2012-13 collection is a journey through the most exotic locations, a colorful collection with colors like blue, black, brown, orange, burgundy, red, sand and emerald. The high craftmanship of the collection can be seen in every detail, from the patchwork to the inlays in feathers, using fabrics like wool loop pile, velvet, jacquard, silk and mohair. Sometimes completely over-the-top… what a show!
